Malta is a captivating and unusual island with beautiful landscape from
the rolling hills down to the many rocky coves and (a few) sandy beaches.
The coastline is also home to a variety of water based activities. In
the evenings there is a eclectic mix ranging from the lively nightlife
of St Julian's to the fabulous local Festas that can be found all over
the island in the summer. This ex British colony will make any brit feel
safe and 'at home' whilst the setting is undeniably exotic and beautiful.
Food is a favorite Maltese pleasure and some of the seafood here is the
best in the world.
Bugibba is a large and well developed resort. It is set
amongst a number of neighboring coastal resorts to make up a particularly
popular and bustling area with great vies of the bay and some lively nightlife.
Sliema is one of the most blessed parts of the island
if you are interested in history, panoramic views of the bay or even a
great day shopping for local specialties such as silver, pottery or woolens.
The resort is ever growing in popularity, the beaches are particularly
good for water sports.
Qawra is one of a group of resorts set along St Pauls
bay. Salina is the other most noteable. The resort is
mainly a pretty fishing town which has a number of rocky coves as well
as water sports and other attractions.
St George's and neighboringSt Julian's
are busy, lively and stylish. Water sports are popular and so are harbor
boat trips and sightseeing. The evenings are full of energetic and youthful
nightlife.
